Dr. Garrett is Director of Biomedical Sciences and Assistant Professor at Grand Canyon University. Dr. Garrett received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001 from the University of St. Francis in Joliet. She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2006 from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Garrett has a diverse background in medicine spanning 16 years, including experience as an Emergency Room nurse. Dr. Garrett’s main clinical interest and study are in the fields of endocrinology, functional medicine and neurotransmitters.
It is my passion and desire to take my knowledge and experience to teach future healthcare providers, who in turn can provide excellent patient care.
