| |  | Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator
Mrs. Donna Gerakos is the Clinical Coordinator and Assistant Professor in the Athletic Training Education Program at Grand Canyon University. Before accepting this position, she worked as owner of her massage therapy practice.
Prior to working as a massage therapist, Donna shared her love of education in various areas including secondary education and adult education. Prior to moving to Arizona, she held an assistant professor and assistant athletic trainer position at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York and also worked several years in an orthopedic outpatient clinic at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Donna holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science and Athletic Care (1995) from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master of Science in Education (1998) from Canisius College. She is state licensed and nationally certified as an athletic trainer and massage therapist and nationally certified as a strength and conditioning specialist.
Donna lives in Goodyear with her husband, Anthony, their son, Jacob and dog, Maggie. She enjoys the Arizona weather and competing in triathlons. | | |
